You’ve heard about red light therapy, and you’re ready to try it. But how long does red light therapy take to work?

To see results, make sure you’re using your device the minimum recommended 3-5 times per week. Sessions should generally be between 10 and 20 minutes long. While the more frequent the sessions the better (every day is ideal), increasing the length of individual sessions has not been shown to increase efficacy.

If you’re just starting out with your device, start with shorter sessions and work up to longer ones as time goes on. As always, talk to your doctor before beginning any new treatment method, especially if you have a history of skin conditions or other medical conditions involving your skin or eyesight.
